Services
Free Consultation
Think of this is our interview! We are checking in with each other to see if we are the right fit to make this team a success. This will be done in a public setting that we have chosen together and will take around 30 mins.
Phone & Email Support
Any questions or concerns can be easily answered via phone text and email support. During the last few weeks of pregnancy (38 on) I will be on call for you 24 hours a day. No question is too small and we can work together to get them answered.
2 Prenatal Visits
I will meet with you twice before baby comes to make a labor wish list together. We can explore different techniques and strategies, and even try a couple things out before hand to see how it feels. We will talk about what to expect during labor, and what to do if things aren't going according to our original plans.

As a Doula, I Do Not:

Professional Information
Currently certifying through Doula Canada, I am trained in advanced comfort techniques, pain management, and can offer a variety of physical and emotional supports , performing in an unbiased manner.
Perform any clinical tasks
A Doula does not do any physical exams such as fetal heartrate or vaginal checks. There will also be no medical advise or clinical diagnosis given.
During labor
During active labor I will be by your side working together with your partner to make sure you are as comfortable as possible. I do not have any other commitments going on during that time, and will not leave until baby is here and you are comfortably situated with baby, approximately 1 hour.
Baby’s first feeding Support
If breastfeeding is the option you have chosen for feeding baby, I will be there to help you with your first latch, and to ensure proper feeding is taking place.
Postpartum follow-up visit
During the postpartum period I will come to visit you to see how everything is going, and to answer any questions you may have. I will check on baby's latch and make sure you are feeling comfortable with feeding.
Make decisions for you
I'm not here to make any choices for my client, and I will not pressure anyone into making decisions based on what I feel would be better for them. We are working together as a team!
Speak to the staff on your behalf
I may give a reminder to the birthing person or the partner on something we discussed, but I will not speak to medical staff on your behalf. I am here to amplify the voice of my client- not to be the voice of my client.
Project any of my own beliefs onto your experience
This journey is for you. It is not my experience and it is not my place to try and change anything based on what I feel would be right in my own circumstances.
